P3 or RAV'N?

hey, i was wondering what the difference is between the rav'n photons and the P3 crystal photon with the rav'n crystals. Is there a difference? I basically want to buy a pair of photons that i can twirl and make really cool blue-green-red lightshows with, but i'm unclear as to the differences between these two. I would think that the P3 with the rav'n crystal would be superior, b/c it would give me more options, but it would look just the same as the rav'n when i had it set right.

Hello HD, I don't know if you already had your question answered or not... but here it is anyway.

The Rav'n Crystals and the Photon III are different in MANY ways...

The Rav'n Crystals use a type of bulb that flashes three (or four?) different colors in successively... and when not in motion... it looks like an iridescent flickering WHITE. When the Rav'n Crystal is moved... the light is able to seperate, and you can see all of the colors.

The Photo III is just like the Photon II's... ONE COLOR... but they have different options in terms of Brightness... Flashing speed... etc.

Depending on what you would like to do... you can choose your photon's that way.

One other thing (or two... rather... ) ... the Rav'n Crystals come with three sized "crystals" of a sort to fit over the bulb... the extrend out the light more and create more of the "ribbon" effect that you see in the ad picture. ALSO (whew... almost done! Promise...) the Rav'n Crystals or designed to also leave longer "tracers"...
