Ok, so the photon 3's are great and all, but ive only had them for like 2 days and im already seeing problems. I bought 2 blue photon 3's and they work fine, except for when you want to change the settings on them. They have lost the ability to do that. Someone help me
Thanks

Make sure you turn the light off, and then squeeze and hold the button to select the mode. If the light is already on, squeeze once to turn off then squeeze and hold to cycle through the different modes.
Hope this helps.

Make sure you remove the strip inside the battery compartment which prevents contact with the "settings chip." That got me too.

I'm sorry to say that I exchanged my P3 light for the good ol' P2 that I have so many of already. The P3 was (in my opinion) unreliable, wouldn't shut off, and was cumbersome to use. If I want lo-beam, I'll put my finger in front of the light as always as for a strobe? I'll figure something else out :)

This is not the norm. A properly functioning P3 should not exhibit these problems, however the Photon II will continue to be available for those just looking for a solid light without any of the bells & whistles.
