For the Rav'n Lights, when they sit alone not moving all they do is blink really fast no matter if you get the ribbon or the strobe. They just loo like they are strobing a white light when it sits still. They are really great, but if your going to swing them around on strings, be careful and make sure your good enough to do so because they break easily. I have a pair of Rav'n Ribbon Lights and they are the greatest thing that i have when it comes to being a raver.

yeah.. if you look directly INTO the bulb you can see the independent led's in a row while it's on, but sitting still ( R+G+B = white ), your eye doesn't catch the independent flashes. As far as swinging them around on strings, yes, doing the 'butterfly' can break some rav'ns with a quickness, but i've found that wrapping the photon itself with electrical tape stops the battery caps from coming off... the photon itself is quite durable and the bulb is most certain to never break. just dont swing them with the crystals on, i've been through 3 sets, it just doesn't work. Maybe if the crystals were made of a stronger substance?

Ummm... not to sound sarcastic...

But it looks Blue... with a Crystal on it...

Literally... the crystal isn't a REAL crystal... it doesnt seperate lightwaves in any way... it just sits on top of the Photon, making it look like a Christmas bulb.

Yea, its just clear plastic that extends how far out the light goes. so it makes it sorda like a one and a half inch glowstick.

I like the effect the crystal provides but unless it is securely glued on, the things will come off even if you barely knick it. Good luck trying to find those crystals on a dancefloor
