Bloody hell, these rav'ns are schweet, i love using 'em like poi and twirling them but i miss doing trick lights... i think it'd be pretty cool to pass em around and stuff with like ribbon style and stuff. So i guess the question here is if its possible to somehow mod the rav'n to be pressable rather than a switch? Or find some way to switch between them with a little modifications? Hehehehe of course, ideally the rav'ns could be like photon IIs and have both a switch and a button...truly badarse then =p. But since i just have the rav'ns i'll just have to practice more with twirlin' =p.

I forwarded the requests for a momentary switch on the Rav'n to David. Here's his respons:
Dear Bryan,
Being that the RAV'N is run by a micro-processor the idea of a momentary switch is possible only in the ability to operate the circuit. In other words the electronics have to be running to make
the Rav'n do its thing. The chip is designed to make the unit turn on untill told otherwise. A new chip looking for intermittant switching could provide the requested action. Not likely in the near future but I certainly understand the interest. -David

What I have experimented with: You can get some realy cool effects if you actually palm the RAVN's with the large flat crystal, you can get some trick effects by opening and closing your hands. YOu can also dance with them and open and close the gaps between your fingers. It doesn't sound like much, but it looks cool as hell in a really dark room, especially from a little bit of distance. If anyone wants to see the RAVN's in action, I will be at the Florida State Fairgrounds at the Mekka Tour on August 10th (www.mekkatour.com). I'll be fashionably late, but I should have a pair of each photon offered from this website when I get there. I have most of them already & I have a few weeks to get the rest. Keep up the good work Brian, everone loves these products!
